I flashed CWM on my phone through fastboot and it worked
then i flashed the root.zip

in fact i wouldnt be root if i wouldnt have put CWM on the phone first

directions::: post #214
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...314836&page=22

the only thing i did differently than the instructions on that post is i put a copy of recovery.img
in the root of a few folders so i knew fastboot would find it

Code:
example:
home/
home/android-sdk-linux/
home/android-sdk-linux/tools
home/androidsdk-linux/platform-tools/
